Tell me what you want and where it goes. I read all of these myself, usually within a week. If it’s a fit, we book a consult. If it isn’t, I’ll say so and point you at someone who does it better.

The consult
A consult is paid, and the fee comes off the work. It is where we decide together whether this is a fit. Bring reference if you have it. Reference is direction, not a spec; nobody gets a copy of another artist's tattoo. Placement, size and composition are my call. Subject is yours. That gets said out loud at the consult and is not renegotiated later.

Deposit
$80 holds the date and comes off the last session. Move it once with a week's notice and it follows you. Move it twice, or don't show, and it's gone. That's the whole policy.
In the room
- Nothing happens to your body that wasn't described first.
- You get a stop word before the machine starts. It stops everything, no explanation owed.
- Breaks on request, without penalty.
- Only the working area is exposed. Doors and sightlines are handled before you undress.
- You can stop permanently at any point. The work stops where it stops.
- No commentary on your body. Placement talk is technical only.
- Phones and cameras out only with permission, asked each time.
- Pronouns are asked on the form and used.
- Top-surgery and mastectomy scar work is welcome. Scar tissue takes ink differently; that is a technical conversation.
- Photo consent is specific, written and revocable. Shop feed, website and print are separate permissions.
- Bigotry toward anyone in the shop ends the session, same day, deposit forfeit.
- Nobody under 18 is tattooed. Oregon law, not shop preference.
